Vonkka, Hyrynsalmi – Public Shame

On the weekend there was the World Cup of Bootball at the Hyrynstrame. One of the nights around here was in Camping Vonka, where the signed rosy with Public Shame. The show had two nights of familiar sets with a familiar band.

This gig also tested a single mid- panel for the control of the lights, allowing the band to pedal different sets of songs. This is Nectar's Pacer, connected to Stairville DMX-Master3 controller. There were a few ready-made scenes and chasels that the bass player was allowed to pedal on whenever it felt appropriate. It's a perfectly functional case, if you don't need any very complicated bag of light.

The location was the covered terrace area of Vonka, where on the public's side the top of the walls revolved around the glass and the bottom was boarded (water plywood on the ceiling..).

Right away, in Czech, you had to play tricks, because everything from the midle up came out fair, and the lower frequencies disappeared like ashes into the wind. I picked up a bit of a bit of a splash for the subbas, and a bit more than a bass and a bass. The next special thing was, especially with the drumsticks, there was a hell of a way through. The reason for this was the roof of the playing platform, which was in the back of the sliding bevelled and, of course, on the water plywood surface. This was almost the perfect angle from the drums to the audience, and before that, to the lead-song mime, which especially picked it up with an excellent degree of ease. But this is what he did, and I got the job done.

The next abnormal clustering went to the basar. When the levels were normal on the pedal, and the drummer happened to be a little bit more fair on the pedal, Santa Basari especially the button too much. All it did was hit a lot of things, and it also calmed down.

At the end of the day, they got the band playing pretty nice, and they got a couple of nights on the set pretty carefree. The DJ was Janne Tiiro, whose set was wired through our mixer to PA. Janne took care of it with a firm, professional grip on the finish line.

I wish, in a few nights, there were a few members of the public who would also look at what the mixer was doing, and one of them, even on the basis of the speeches, understood something. He also said, "Surprisingly good sounds have been made in this cabin." 🙂

The weekend was a really nice weekend, and the location was very nice, even though the region was not the most recent of all.
