On Saturday, we had a tradition of Virkkula Westival, which has now been held for the last time. There were even two pallets for the time being. On a smaller stage there was a "akker" section, and then there was a bigger "sauna platform" after the bands. There were a total of six bands on the sauna platform, and there was a small stage in between them.
Oh, that's another month from the last post. It's not like there's been any big time, though. The rest of the stuff took the time of the day, so I've only had time to do one job. This one was peddled with Public Shame in Ruuk's Old Teeko. Job Variables to Normal
Again, it's been a couple of weeks since the last post. There was a video shoot, recording, and one gig. Let's start with the video. In the spring, 13 clips of different songs were recorded for Public Shame, and they were now putting the videos in their Rene. Next, we need time to cut those samples. That's not the video.
Friday night, I was planning on going to see the show, when Free Ride had a bet at Toppila Club. All the guys in the Orca (Ollonen, Remes, Itkonen) know each other, so you gotta see the guys' show. The plan changed a little, when Thursday came up, asking if I could mix up the gig. I promised to mix it up,
The gigs continued last Saturday with Public Shame at the birthday party. The place was a rather small "barn" of a certain type. The acoustics were not evil, even though the pure pelticto appeared above. There were no massive structures to make reflections, and even the walls of the traditional outer mountain board, so no
Last Saturday, we went to Petrelli for Sam's memorial concert. The evening was exceptional in many respects, because of the subject, as was the case with 19 artists on the stage. By way of exception, the call started at 10: 00 p.m. and the evening was pulled through with three sets. Jani Outinen took care of the spikes.
A few months ago, it went from the last Shame job, and now it's two days in one. Well, for me, it went by one, when the second job was run by M.Berg.That job was in Oulunsalo Varjakka, and then it ran. KnockoutThe FBI in Rann... No miracles at the show, and we just got burned in an old routine.
Gradually returned to the music business, both for the show and for the studio. Beginning Inhalation Ten & Ranni Tyrnäva. We've been here before with Public Shame, and I'm sure the next one will be with them in the same place. Not exactly the best of acoustics. Of course, there's a lot of wood, but it's very manageable.
On Sunday, I got really sad news after a long-standing friend had passed away. On Saturday, we were still on a gig, and it feels so incredible that it was our last. I can't find the right words... Power to Sanna, and the rest of the family. With a good friend, Tapsa
It was supposed to be a gig-free weekend, but with a few days' notice, I had to crash in Petrelli. The original band had a medical incident, so... Cloud Band Came to fix it. No miracles at the show, and everything was nice. The only exception was actually that I remembered to even take a picture and just a little bit.
