Last Saturday, we went to Petrelli for Sam's memorial concert. The evening was exceptional in many respects, because of the subject, as was the case with 19 artists on the stage.
By way of exception, the call started at 10: 00 p.m. and the evening was pulled through with three sets.
Jani Outinen handled the spikes, and I did the technique, while Aittola Ville assisted the monitors.
Well, I guess the room was full, and the atmosphere was really great. I think the master himself would have been happy with this. 🙂
The evening was reasonably hectic, and I didn't take pictures of the show, but luckily, the whole treatment was captured (with one camera) and the videos of all three sets are below.
The saunas weren't really screwed into this, but they were pretty quick to roll through. For example, Ek's snare film (used in the first and third sets) is "moderately" loose and not quite the best recording idea. Alex's (second set) snare is already more comfortable in recording. Even the singers on the stage changed their blood tight, that the vola curve should have been drawn gently on the wrist, as there were quite fair differences in dynamics between different persons. Of course, I drew a very quick curve for it, but it's not quite right, just not many of them, but I think the idea of this evening will be passed on to the listener. But it's live! 🙂
