Again, it's been a couple of weeks since the last post. There was a video shoot, recording, and one gig.
Let's start with the video. In the spring, 13 clips of different songs were recorded for Public Shame, and they were now putting the videos in their Rene. Next, we need time to cut those samples. Videos are not the strongest part of the world, and again, it could have been much more light on the bow. Well, let's take care of ourselves over there.
Next thing I know, I'm doing some punk band recording. This also happened on their own sleigh, where I took my own mobile recording set.
The only thing worth mentioning here is that RME interface for listening control. It's the best I've ever used. The studio has the Antelopen Orion Studio Synergy Core and the home studio Universal Audio Apollo x6, which is far from RME. Of course the DSP side is separate, especially in Apollo. In addition to that Apollo, the home studio has a UAD-2 prossu to give more kick to the plugers.
There was supposed to be a Public Shame gig at the market, but the weather report showed its blood bad, that it was a quick change to the day, and it was on Friday.
The evening was not particularly windy, but of course there was always a bit of blowing on the sea shore, and the door of drums and stork mikes were a little sensitive about it. The clowns did come through, without having to work through PA, so we got it.
