Virkkula Westival 2025

On Saturday, we had a tradition of Virkkula Westival, which has now been held for the last time. There were even two pallets for the time being. On a smaller stage there was a "akker" section, and then there was a bigger "sauna platform" after the bands. There were a total of six bands on the sauna platform, and there was a small stage in between them.

The weather was usually warm, with a couple of thunderstorms, so at least the afternoon performers had a little too much heat. Fortunately, everyone stayed on their feet, regardless of the coil. 🙂

This time, there was no concern about the adequacy of electricity when power power was delivered, so the fleet was boarded in such a way that the PA was operated by Turbon IQ serians and monitored by Turbon Milans. As a Mixer Behkun Wing Rack with S32 stagebox. There was "enough" and maybe a little more. 🙂 In the case of drums, Yok's mikes were used, because it was faster to make a switch so that only the drum fans are connected between mixers than to start changing the microwave.

In advance, the checks are made for Yok, Tide and Pisa, then the others less for the flight.

Day started with the sauna platform The moon's dark side on the set, because they had another bet on Piippurock. Next up was Old Men's Burden, who was peddled half the flight. After this, there was a Tide on the stage. Tide needed to make a check in advance, because listening was for almost everyone. Oikarinen was the only one who resorted to corners, so it was a bit of a mixed set of listening 🙂
Next up was Sofia Volti, where the band also had their own iem listening. The hunch had to be creative, that how to act when their own listening mixer was not connected because of the timetable, but instead went so that their listening directly to Wing and fast-dipping levels were aligned. It worked fine. The next ferry was attacked by Pisara (including the short video clip). Here's the specialty of having to turn the drums into "left-handed," but the switch was still painless. The last one was Yoki. Rane was prevented from doing the second mix-up, so the result of the valuation at the beginning of the week was that Jaakko Pohjola jumps in. And what the hell, Jack took care of it with his hands and feet.

There were no bigger problems during the day, which the smoke machine was making a little moody. It appears to be a feed hose slightly blocked (or leaking) when the fluid did not move. Helped when the hose was waving.

Thank you very much for your technical friend Ville Aittola, who went back to being a friend to get the lights fixed, and to help with the changes. Without Ville's help, the timetable would not have been so successful, how it went now.

Videos in memory take even one short piece, so very much there is no choice, which I attach to this 😀
