Lauantaina kävin ruuvaamassa Tideä Toppila klubilla. Esiintymässä oli myös helsinkiläinen Egres, mutta heillä oli oma mies tekniikassa. Oli sovittu, että Egres soittaa ensin ja Tide päättää illan, joten tsekit käänteisenä. Molemmilla bändeillä oli omat mikserit. Minä ajoin Tideä Wing Rackilla ja Egresillä
i10:llä käytiin tosiaan polkemassa privaattikeikkaa Oulun Ruskon kaupunginosassa. Paikkana semipieni teollisuushalli ja jonka yrityksen johtaja täytti pyöreitä.Vaikka halli ei mikään suuri ollutkaan, oli kaikista halleista tuttu kaikuelementti kuitenkin läsnä täälläkin. I mean, lately, it's been pretty comfortable, you know, taking turns from gigs and studio jobs. A week of studio, weekends of gigs. Last weekend, they went to Public Shame in Petrelli. People were there, they were there, they were there, they were there, they were there. By the way, I think it was this year's eighth Petrelli gig for me. One of the gigs, actually.
Lauantaina oli kuukauden tauon jälkeen taas keikkailta, kun käytiin Public Shamen kanssa Lissun Baarissa polkaseen setti. Ihan mukava ilta ja maakunnissa totutusti aloitus oli vasta puolilta öin. Teknisesti kaikki pelas kuten oli tarkoitus, joten kovasti ei ole keikasta kerrottavana. Tässä kuukauden aikana
Undark on tuttu bändi äänitepuolelta, mutta nyt oli kyseessä ensimmäinen liveveto heille. Käytiin Haukiputaan Musa Vintillä polkasemassa setin verran heavya. Bändin miehistö oli kokenut pientä lisäystä sitten edellisen kerran ja oikein hyvin heillä homma toimi. Haukiputaan Musa Vintti on soittotilaltaan pieni paikka.
Lomat on ohi ja lauantaina starttasi syyskauden keikat. Musahommia tässä nyt piisaakin tuonne ”pikkujoulukauteen” asti oikeastaan joka viikonloppu. Keikkoja mukavasti ja välissä hieman studiohommia, joten ne vapaat viikonloput tulee jäämään loppu vuodelta melko vähiin. Lauantaina olin siis Inhalation Tenin mukana Toppilan Jazzvintillä
On Saturday, we had a tradition of Virkkula Westival, which has now been held for the last time. There were even two pallets for the time being. On a smaller stage there was a "akker" section, and then there was a bigger "sauna platform" after the bands. There were a total of six bands on the sauna platform, and there was a small stage in between them.

Again, it's been a couple of weeks since the last post. There was a video shoot, recording, and one gig. Let's start with the video. In the spring, 13 clips of different songs were recorded for Public Shame, and they were now putting the videos in their Rene. Next, we need time to cut those samples. That's not the video.
Friday night, I was planning on going to see the show, when Free Ride had a bet at Toppila Club. All the guys in the Orca (Ollonen, Remes, Itkonen) know each other, so you gotta see the guys' show.
