Last Saturday, two outdoor events came up. On this morning I began in Liminga with a collection of techniques for the Virkkula Westis elections, before the official noses of the event arrived. For the first time, these "picnik" elections were held, and the framework and arrangements were well managed. A performance worth buying, Matti!
PA was the passive set of Turbosound imported from Livepalet and terminal & processing was performed with QSC CX-Q series. The set in question is a nice kick, and still a good sound. I guess I only did some very small surgery on the master eq for someone who knew 5khz.
J.Hootari took over, but he did it with a calm and professional grip from time to time.
The night ago, I stormed for the Horrible Days, where Saturday night's last performance was Public Shame. The boys brought their own vermes, with the exception of PA (there was already Livesaletti Turbosound), from which the masters were connected to the "house" mixer and the job was only for fire. No sound check was made, so during the first song I adjusted the necessary flight.
That's the way it is, people like it there on the side of the liquor parlor, and there's no bigger crowd outside the stage. 🙂
