It's been another couple of weeks since the last post. In the meantime, we've had a couple of gigs to catch, and in the home studio, it's been hours, if there's one.
Let's start with one of those "bitch" jobs I went to make a sound check. This job really didn't take much of a job, and the guys got through it with a check-up. It was a private event where the space was a small concrete cave. And as you can imagine, you had to be reasonably awake with the rubber downstairs.

The next programme was to implement a particular event in the form of sound technology. The event was hosted by a face familiar to the rally world (and especially sound) 🙂
I've got a set of little Turbosound, Soudcraft's little mixer, and Shenku's wireless mike. There were also a few lights added, but the day was so sunny that in the end they were left in vain. The area was also fairly wide, so the wireless needed a bit more intense antennas to reach the entire area (to a good 50 metres).

There's a nice set on YouTube, so why don't you go check it out? Link to Haabäg channel from the icon below..
Oh, and there was one real gig, too. Public Shame went to Raahe's Irish pub and went through the sets. There wasn't much of a lot of people at the start, but fortunately, towards the end of the day, the house started to fill up, and the end was already a very nice model.
With Shame, more jobs have already been thrown, and the mix is getting pretty good in the balance. I would also like to thank Markus Berg, who, in the first place, did excellent groundwork. I guess this job just fixed the lead song alamidle a little bit. Even before the check, I was also pushing the channels a little lower, and I was prepared to raise the master a bit higher. It turns out that, when I start (and anyway), I always try to go on a moderate Vola level, so gradually, as the gig progresses, and as the crowd grows, the channels slide up. They do have a reserve, but if you don't remember to go down after the job, then after a couple of jobs, you want the reserve to go down. 🙂

Sometimes, you could even get a mixer to play in the corner. 😀
In production, Sanna and Sami Pilvilä are about to be the newest single in the package. Videos have already described it, so let's get this officially out in the summer.
For a couple of other projects, the situation is that one disc is starting to be the last guitar solo and one background song session without a mix-up and the other prock has also moved forward with small drum cuts (quantifications). There is, however, still a lot more stuff coming into this project, when you can spin the mixer button.
