3.9 - Public Shame @ Tikankontti, Kiiminki

An old friend asked for a rock show on Saturday as a voice man, when usually their tech manager was prevented. That's all I had in store for that, and that was fine. This time, for your own stuff, the instruction was that take the head and everything else will be found to them.

And, of course, they found their own work in the back, and even so beautifully managed, that very few local bands have that level of gall politics. Good guys!

There is hardly any special story to write and went in style: at 7.30 p.m. Guys' workout to pick up the gear - > driving to the gig - > Decommissioning of the gear - > Sets - > sound check - > waiting - > concert tape 1 - > break - > gigs 2 - > demolition - > the stuff in the car (here it happened that there were a few strong drinks a little too much enjoyed by the gentleman, but even the guitarist singer of the band, who used to manage the profession, ended the situation so that there was no confusion in the end. Let us leave the details of this situation here. 🙂 ) - > driving for workout - > goods inside - > home to sleep (I got to sleep at 5: 00 in the morning)...

When I used to compliment the band on the level of equipment, the screen from the previous gig was the same (thanks to M.Berg). Almost every channel when I opened in the soundcheck, had to say that, "Well, this was here, and the next player thank you." At most, I made minor changes due to space, and perhaps to my own preference. In practice, they were also a couple of db cuts to the upper frequencies, or something like that.

Well, there's not much else to write about tonight, so let's move on to the next story, when the time comes... 🙂

And below, a short piece of the gig...
