Stories about sound technology and a little bit more
It was supposed to be a gig-free weekend, but with a few days' notice, I had to crash in Petrelli. The original band had a medical incident, so... Cloud Band Came to fix it. No miracles at the show, and everything was nice. The only exception was actually that I remembered to even take a picture and just a little bit.
The concert break is over, and the fall started a week ago at the Cloud Band concert in Petrelli. There were no big stories about the show, and the way I knew it, I forgot about the click. Fortunately, V.Aittola guessed this, and took the picture below. 🙂There were a lot of people on the move, and the only change really was:
Looks like a month since the last post. This is partly because there have been few gigs in between, and secondly, there has been other hurries, such as, for example, the stalling of the new studio. In the past, all the vocal units have been stored, from which I have been picking them up for gigs, and
Garbo and I ended the year at a New Year's party in Rokua. It was a very nice gig, and the first of its kind with that particular orphan. Even the campet was carrying the blood of having to borrow a van from V.Aittola for the job. Everything worked without a problem, even though the stage was about to get caught by a six-man orphan. That's how this year's coming to an end. It's been a very nice year on the music front. There have been a few recordings and gigs at a rather convenient rate. Of course, there was a lot of intense gigs from time to time, and there was no room for more of them in the calendar. For this year there is one more cluster in Rokua, where Garbo
Another small mention of the new EQ of a highly qualified FabFilter plugar series. The new version four is actually being published today. At the time of writing it had not yet been published, nor did the manufacturer's pages give any price indication, let alone an exact list of characteristics. However, they have released a short presentation video, from which the biggest updates can be found
Oh, my! Now you got to blood on old memories, when you were on a private tour with i10 in Rauhala. The last place I worked was in the early millennium, but it was an outdoor event. But inside the peace house, the latest gig is probably 1997. Not exactly the same year. Some
Friday night, Public Shame and I were at a private show in Rehapolis. The restaurant Makosa, which is quite much a glass wall, causes its own comfortable nuances for the orchestra. However, the space is very small with the same height as the surface area. So, as far as the vola level is concerned, we went as small as possible. Saturday Next we directed
Cloud Band, Petrelli's Saloon... That's another very familiar combination. Petrelli usually has a lot of people on the job, and a few times already mentioned that the head is gonna be crowded. Now the crampiness was increased by the beginning of the Christmas season and the cottage was full at an early stage. Before
Rizzla I'd never mixed up before, so the band's a new acquaintance. Of course, I knew the band before, and you heard some bits, but I've never been on a stick before. With Mikka Rinttilä has also been involved in a few studio projects, so not all of them were weird. In the band
