Stories about sound technology and a little bit more
Yeah, sometimes you have to do a job, you know? Fortunately, there are rarely any of these, because day jobs are essentially disrupting hobbies. Last Thursday, Public Shame and the private rock-and-roll in Radisson, Oulu. In the last post, I marched that I didn't want to remember to take pictures of the shows, and now I just bet and grabbed them.
It seems like a wild ride is going on. A few more shows have come down, and it went up and down, even in high heels, to mess up the show front in August. Lucky for the corona, only one job had to be cancelled. Too bad, of course. On the weekend after the refreshment, Public Shame and the Torpa of Viiluoto were kicked. The audience just happened to be.
The second time I've arranged a festival where I delivered the entire technology. Last year it happened that there was another gig agreed at the same time, so I had time to go as a friend to build the equipment, but the mix was done by a very experienced Janne Hootari. The holiday season goes crazy and back to the lair. In July, I took a break from music, and I only did one job during that time. This will then continue to be a bit more active in the music side (some final recordings, publications, gigs, etc.). Heavy Load - Swine Festival in Pohjokylä 2024
Audion got the honor of joining Apple Digital Masters Studios.
We kicked some music at the wedding party of friends. This was one of the few times that work didn't seem like work, but could even enjoy and be part of a party group. 🙂 Even on a day-to-day basis, you get lost in sound engineering. Under the "wiggle gear."
So it has been slipping time from the last post for a while. There's not a lot of time between now, though, for a few jobs and a little studio work. Let's start with the studio. I've recorded a few songs for Undark in this winter, the first of which will see
Atmo has become a touch-up with Mastervox, where listening is also quite standard. Now, at home, I decided to take over that better, so that, if necessary, you have the know-how. I don't have any listening in that little home studio, so I had to settle for "binary," where, for example, 7.1.4 listening
The title combo didn't come up for the first time, and it's gonna be hard to find anything new to say. Familiar and good band, familiar (and good) staff, and the audience are getting so familiar that it's hard to get between the sets even to the buckler when you get caught in the mouth
And so it finally started this year for gigs.
